Crescento Packaging, with over 25 years of experience in the printing industry, continues to establish itself as one of the most important producers of disposable packaging in Romania. Specializing in the production of cardboard cups, plates, and boxes for the HORECA industry, the company provides packaging solutions that meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
In the dynamic context of both the HORECA sector and the packaging industry, Crescento Packaging stands out through three key pillars: quality, sustainability, and innovation. Whether serving supermarkets, fast-food chains present in shopping mall food courts, or vending networks, the company supports its clients with eco-friendly and recyclable high-quality products.
Aware of the need to expand production on a European level, Crescento Packaging took an important step forward: in 2023, the company inaugurated a new modern factory of 4,000 sqm in Miroslava Industrial Park, Iași County, to meet the growing demands of the market and its clients.
“Today, we operate one of the most organized and sanitized packaging factories in Southeast Europe. We stand out through the diversity and versatility of our product range, covering all required cup sizes, from 4 oz to 16 oz. At the same time, our extended portfolio of plate sizes and shapes is fully adapted to market needs. The same goes for our cardboard boxes, which include all essential formats for a restaurant’s diverse requirements. We are committed to delivering complete packaging solutions that meet the most demanding standards of the hospitality industry — always with care for the end-user, who benefits from quality packaging designed with respect for the environment,” said Grigore Vasile, CEO.
The relocation and expansion of production capacity have brought significant improvements in quality and logistics processes. Compared to the end of 2022, Crescento Packaging has doubled its production capacity for disposable cardboard cups and plates, reaching a monthly capacity of 45 million cups, 12 million plates, and 22 million boxes.
In recent years, substantial investments have been made in modernizing and upgrading production lines. These technologies enable efficient, high-quality production in line with the specific requirements of the HORECA industry.
Crescento Packaging currently employs 105 people, each playing an important role in the company’s growth and operations. Furthermore, with ambitious development plans ahead, the company will create an additional 25 jobs in the near future, further increasing its positive impact on the community.
To expand its production capacity, Crescento Packaging will build a new 3,000 sqm hall on its 13,000 sqm plot by November 2024, bringing the factory’s total surface to 7,000 sqm. In line with the company’s vision to evolve and maintain its leadership position in the industry, both halls will be BRCGS Packaging Materials certified, a globally recognized quality standard, supported by an investment of €5 million.
